全英黒猫の日
10月27日は全英黒猫の日。
不吉なイメージや迷信のせいで悲しい歴史を持つ黒猫のためにイギリスの猫専門動物愛護団体によって設立された日だそうです。
一方で国が違えば文化も違い、日本では昔から縁起の良い猫として扱われており、フランスでは魔法の猫で幸せを呼ぶと言われています。
私の実家では黒猫を飼っているので、賢くて甘えん坊なかわいい黒猫に魅了されています。一部の迷信やインスタ映えしない等の理由だけで嫌わないで欲しい、黒猫はもっと愛されるべき存在だと心から思います。
